Name & Location?
Logan Guarglia, currently working in Richmond, VA & NYC

What is your primary practice?
It bounces around but primarily screen printing, illustration and tattoo.

What’s the first thing we should know about you?
I obsess over my work, it's a blessing and a curse. At the end of the day, it's what keeps me motivated.

What are your inspirations?
They change and evolve constantly so it's hard to pin down. I grew up on cartoons so innately the American classics are always fun for me to reinterpret in my practice. Lately, I've been on a cult film kick though. It's been fun to research and spend less time at the drawing table and focusing my energy on absorbing a different form of visual imagery and applying it graphically.

How would you explain your work? How did this apply to wanting to work with Attaquer?
Spontaneous but meticulous. I've always been intrigued by the graphic layouts I see on cycling gear and road bikes alike so it was a great opportunity to apply my creative approach to this project.

When I’m not creating, you’ll find me…
Thinking aimlessly about what's next on the list to make.

What drew you to the Attaquer brand?
I appreciate the creative approach to this company and what it brings to the cycling industry

Could you tell us about your creative space?
Currently, the screen printing shop I'm working from is on a farm. It's been a nice change of pace from printing in the city over the last year and has given me more freedom and space to think about my work.

Where do you find the most inspiration for your work?
My environment and friends.

What are you drawn to most at the moment?
Incorporating more imagery into my practice and less illustrative approaches.

What was an exciting part of this process?
I can't remember all of the cyclists that I researched, but its fun to see the eccentric riders that carved the way in cycling history.
