We're looking for an Apparel Graphic Designer to lead the graphic design and creative concept work behind our seasonal collections, custom kit and collaborations. You'll be the first creative voice on every new collection and collab — developing concepts, not just executing someone else's — and you'll see that vision through to a finished, factory-produced garment.
This is a design-led role with genuine production fluency. You'll work directly with our factories on colourways, strike-offs and print placement, rather than handing off finished artwork and hoping it translates. You'll sit within the product team, working closely with our Head of Product and Product Innovation Lead, and partnering early with our Marketing team's Design Director so brand consistency is built in from the concept stage rather than reconciled right before launch. Like most roles here, this one calls for the energy and flexibility to work in a small, fast-paced team and own projects from concept through to execution.
Reports to: Head of Product.
What you'll do
- Lead graphic design and concept development for seasonal collections, custom team/club kit, and brand collaborations
- Develop and protect a consistent visual identity and aesthetic point of view across the product range
- Prepare and manage print-ready artwork, colourways and pattern repeats for garment production
- Create and maintain seasonal product catalogues, keeping them accurate and up to date
- Work directly with factories to review and approve strike-offs, lab dips and print placement
- Bring Marketing's Design Director in at the concept stage on collabs and major releases, not just before go-to-market
- Provide creative input to Marketing on styling and photography for major collection and collab launches, helping ensure the design story translates on camera
- Stay close to street, skate, fashion and cycling culture to keep pushing our design point of view forward
- Own seasonal trend scouting and collaboration pitching — identifying brands, artists and partners worth collaborating with, and presenting seasonal creative direction to the team
- Partner with the Head of Product on product direction and season planning from a design perspective
What you'll bring
- 4+ years in apparel or graphic design, ideally with hands-on experience getting artwork into garment production
- A portfolio with range beyond conventional sportswear design — streetwear, skate or fashion-adjacent work is a strong plus
- Confidence communicating directly with factories and vendors on colour and print
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), with working knowledge of 3D design software such as CLO
- Working knowledge of how design translates onto fabric and garments — repeats, placement, colourway constraints
- A genuine, product-obsessed point of view on design — someone who pushes ideas forward, not just executes briefs
Nice to have
- Experience designing for cycling, running or other performance/technical apparel
- Custom illustration or typography skills
- Experience working on brand collaborations or co-branded product
- A personal interest in cycling and Attaquer's aesthetic
Success in this role looks like
- Seasonal collections and collabs that land on-brand and on-time, without last-minute scrambles
- Strike-offs and colourways approved efficiently, with minimal back-and-forth with factories
- A design point of view that's clearly building Attaquer's recognition in the wider cycling and streetwear conversation
- A collaboration pipeline that's actively curated and pitched, not just reacted to when opportunities land
About Attaquer
Attaquer is a global innovation leader in cycling apparel, based in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 2012 as an industry disruptor, we produce world-class, fashion-forward cycling apparel, distributed globally through multiple direct-to-consumer websites, a worldwide dealer and distribution network, and a custom apparel program. We draw inspiration from street, skate and fashion culture rather than the traditional cycling look, and our visual identity is central to what sets us apart — reflected in a collaboration history spanning international brands and artists including Deus, Braindead, Kappa, Briko, Merrell, and the estates of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Our vision: Attaquer is a mindset, the uniform of choice, inspiring people to escape the mundane and roll as a team. Our mission: create the most innovative, imaginative and contemporary performance products in a more sustainable way, enabling riders to express their authenticity and individuality on and off the bike.
